I'm in the middle of upgrading everything up to Rails 7
A fun little dungeon crawler staring Faune, from Ourcade. This tutorial is a video one on YouTube, instead of an ebook. It's split up into multiple videos and touches on using images from multiple open source libraries, building maps with Tiled map editor, chests, lizard monsters, and the knife throwing hero, Faune.
Our knife throwing, horned helmet wearing dungeon explorer
He's green, not photogenic, and his hugs take your heart away. Literally. One at a time.
Our hero, Bun Bun, is a bunny who loves to jump. He's a little bit of a show off, and he's always looking for a challenge.
Bunny jump is from an amazing Ourcade tutorial. This is the first game that I made from their tutorials. Bunny Jump is from the e-book Infinite Jumper which is a free book you can get by following the link.
It's a fun little project that comes complete with all the images you need, and touches on some of basics.
Starfall is a fun little game where you catch falling stars with your mouse. Or your finger. It's from a tutorial written on Medium that's a great introduction to Phaser 3. I followed most of it, with the obvious exception of using Ruby on Rails to host the project instead of Node.js
Our hero, the star, is a star. Who like just falling aimlessly to the ground.
